Re Carol Marbin Miller’s brilliant Dec. 2 article, A little girl’s death by bureaucratic callousness, medical neglect: It is inconceivable how any judge or government official could sanction having this girl be torn from her mother and confined in an environment that eventually led to her death. The torment inflicted upon her is unfathomable.
However, all culpable in this tragedy will return to their jobs, families and careers as if nothing of consequence occurred.
