Tale of two Rices

 

It’s astounding that there is any traction whatsoever to the “block Susan Rice as secretary of State” kerfuffle. The two bookend cheerleaders against her, Lindsey Graham and John McCain, have been remarkably wrong on numerous public statements for many years and steadfastly defended the other Rice (Condoleezza) as nominee to the same post after her demonstrably failed tenure as National Security Advisor.

Don’t forget that she also made incorrect statements ostensibly based on poor intelligence.

However, her statements helped drive this country into the worst foreign policy failure in memory, the Iraq War.
