Playwright Robert Caisley gets a fresh look at ‘Happy’ this weekend at New Theatre, where the new script gets its second production as part of the National New Play Network’s rolling world premiere program. Jessica Welch, Ernesto Miyares and Scott Douglas Wilson (he’s ogling Maria Corina Ramirez ) appear in the darkly comic play about how the world of a long-married couple is shaken by the arrival of a friend’s much younger girlfriend. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 1 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday (no late show this Sunday), through Dec. 16. Tickets are $40 Friday-Saturday and Sunday matinee, $35 other shows. The first 25 students under 25 are admitted free on opening weekend; after that, student rush tickets are $15. New Theatre performs at the Roxy Performing Arts Center, 1645 SW 107th Ave., Miami.
