A Fort Lauderdale anesthesiologist, already the subject of criminal charges in a federal pill mill probe, is facing a license suspension and thousands of dollars in fines for his role in a procedure that left a father permanently vegetative.
The Florida Health Department says Dr. Thomas J. Rodenberg, 53, kept inadequate and inaccurate medical records and failed to properly respond when Dale Whyte went into cardiac arrest in a Pompano Beach operating room in 2008.
