The Mandarin Oriental, 500 Brickell Key Dr., Miami, begins serving Sunday brunch this weekend beside its new infinity-edge pool. The 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. buffet costs $55 and includes a glass of Pommery champagne. Children ages 6 to 12 eat for $25, with younger tots fed free; 305-913 8358.

Essensia Lounge at The Palms, 3025 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, kicks off “Pair-fect Thursdays” this week. The 5-8 p.m. promotion offers an array of cocktail-nibble combos (e.g., Cue-T Martini with grilled Spanish octopus) for $19; 305-908-5458.
