Child prodigy heading to South Florida

You think your offspring has talent?

Try being the parents of Autumn de Forest. The 11-year-old Las Vegas prodigy started painting at age 5 and has already been interviewed by Matt Lauer on the Today show and appeared on Discovery Health’s My Kid’s Smarter Than Me!

Parents Doug and Katherine first noticed her talent when she started bringing home abstract, museum-quality artwork from school.

You can see for yourself what all the fuss is about when Autumn makes appearances at Onessimo Fine Art in Palm Beach Gardens from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The “Child Prodigy” exhibit will include 80 of her coolest pieces. Ironically, Autumn is smaller than most of her canvasses, which have sold for up to $25,000.

Soaking up the sun

Rosie O’Donnell can’t stay away from our neighborhood.

The comic and wife Michelle Rounds took a romantic boat ride Sunday afternoon checking out dolphins and manatees in Biscayne Bay.

Rosie tweeted serene pictures of Rounds hanging out on the deck, as well as various sea creatures.

“So many dolphins today,” O’Donnell wrote to her 562,000 followers. “I love love love miami.”

The couple could use some relaxation after their recent health scares. In August, Rosie, 50, had a heart attack. Rounds, a former executive recruiter, 41, continues treatment for very rare gastrointestinal desmoid tumors.

O’Donnell’s 12-bedroom, $19,500,000 Star Island mansion is still for sale, says Kevin Tomlinson, of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
