Homestead Miami Dade College offers free HIV tests to honor World AIDS Day

 

A blood drive and free HIV tests will be offered at Miami Dade College’s Homestead campus in honor of World AIDS Day.

Miami Dade College will mark World AIDS Day, which is Dec. 1, with a blood drive and free HIV testing Thursday at the college’s Homestead campus.

The blood drive will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of building A. Free HIV testing, sponsored by Sembrando Flores, a Homestead non-profit that offers support to people who are infected with the virus, will take place from noon until 2 p.m. in the F building lot.

The campus is located at 500 College Terrace in Homestead.
