Chris Brown is letting his freak flag fly again.

The R&B bad boy’s random comment on Twitter about his looks (saying he looks “old” at 23) got a response from comedian Jenny Johnson, who isn’t a fan. She called him a “worthless piece of [expletive],” which can “really age a person.” The war of words just heated up from there, with Brown calling Johnson a “ho,” and other unmentionable things. The singer’s publicist must have gotten wind of the exchange because before you knew it, Brown deactivated his Twitter account, according to Buzzfeed.com. His 11.6 million followers must be so sad.

As for Brown and Rihanna, they apparently have rekindled the fires, or at least want everyone to think that. Ri posted a picture of a shirtless Brown, pants hanging and underwear exposed, on her bed in her Berlin hotel room. She later tweeted a topless pic of herself.

Friend ’til the end

An unlikely person is bailing out Lindsay Lohan, who is still reeling from scathing reviews for her Valley Girl like turn in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick. Charlie Sheen, so says TMZ. The Anger Management star reportedly helped Lohan pay her outstanding IRS bill, with a cool $100,000 check. That’s almost half of the $233,904 she owes. The two became close during the filming of Scary Movie 5 in September. Now that sounds like a must-see. Meanwhile, at least one person was pleased with LiLo’s portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s Liz &Dick Sunday night: her estranged father. “You proved the critics wrong @LindsayLohan you are one of the best, so gifted, so amazing!” Michael Lohan tweeted.

No thanks

Justin Bieber’s home country didn’t show him the love on Sunday. The singer faced a hostile crowd in Toronto during his halftime performance at the Grey Cup.

The audience started booing when the 18-year-old’s face popped up on the JumboTron, then again when a host spoke his name and even more when he took the stage to perform. “Thank you so much Canada,” Bieber said, with no hint of sarcasm. “I love you.”

Why the hate? Earlier in the week, Bieber was presented with a Diamond Jubilee Medal by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and caused a scene by wearing overalls, unbuttoned on one shoulder, over a white T-shirt, with a backwards baseball cap.

Clear notes

Icelandic singer Bjork had successful laser surgery to remove a vocal cord polyp. The eccentric 47-year-old singer said on her official website that she had been trying to tackle the problem with exercises and diets since doctors first discovered the polyp, a benign growth on either one or both of the vocal cords, years ago.
