Under the cover of darkness and getting an early start to Thanksgiving, Madonna hosted an intimate private party Wednesday at FDR at the Delano. Arriving just after 11 p.m., the iconic pop singer watched as her dancers and crew were breakdancing in the DJ booth with Madonna’s favorite spin doctor, Tracy Young. After uncharacteristically standing to the side for a while, Madonna finally started dancing next to her friends and family. Before making her exit at 3 a.m., she made her way around the room, talking with all of her guests.

Madonna’s youngest children, David and Mercy, were seen among a different sort of wildlife Wednesday at Jungle Island for the birthday party of the son of their mom’s manager, Guy Oseary.

Neil Barofsky, New York Times bestselling author and former U.S. Inspector General known as the Tarp Cop under Presidents Bush and Obama, was seen dining Monday night with family at Toro Toro at the Intercontinental Miami while in town for his appearance at the Miami International Book Fair.

Don Rickles had dinner Saturday night at The Forge with his longtime road manager, Tony Oppedisano. Rickles, says our spy, was under a “cone of silence” as he was in town to surprise a friend.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 19-year-old-son of Arnold and Maria, had dinner Friday with a group of 25 at Bâoli Miami, where they spent $8,000 on food and drink and partied until closing.

A flurry of paparazzi descended Wednesday upon Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. A-list celebrity? Wishful thinking. It was just Kourtney Kardashian and the Disick family. Sigh. Former CSI: Miami star David Caruso was also there wanting nothing to do with it. The Kardashian/Disicks were also all seen Tuesday night in the Disney store at Aventura Mall.

Stevie Wonder celebrated his 63rd birthday a week after the big day (May 13) with a private concert for almost 700 high rollers, VIP guests and media types Tuesday night at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.
