As we approach the holiday season I’m reminded that there are forces in this great country that are opposed to prayer in school, nativity scenes and display of the 10 Commandments in public buildings.
We are a Judeo-Christian nation that stops, in remembrance of Good Friday. Most of us don’t give much thought to the events of that Friday. However, the Friday that we do get excited about is Black Friday. We stand in line for hours to buy stuff that we don’t really need, paid for with credit cards we can’t afford, for merchandise mostly made in China — which owns a good part of America’s debt. Something is wrong here.
