Robin Roberts is still in recovery mode. In a Facebook message, the Good Morning America host, 51, says she was recently treated for a latent virus that had not responded to medication. “Our immune systems usually take care of a virus like this ... but mine is only 59 days old,” posted Roberts, who had a bone marrow transplant on Sept. 20 due to a rare blood disorder — myelodysplastic syndrome.

He said, he said

Kevin Clash’s accuser’s changing his story again, TMZ reports. Sheldon Stephens, 23, reportedly wants to undo a $125,000 settlement he said he was given to recant his claim that the two had a sexual relationship seven years ago when Stephens was a minor.

No dice

The California Supreme Court has declined to review Nicollette Sheridan’s lawsuit over the demise of her role on Desperate Housewives. The state’s high court said Friday it would deny an appeal by the actress in her wrongful termination case against ABC and Touchstone Television. Sheridan said she was fired because she claimed she was hit in the head by series creator Marc Cherry. ABC attorneys claimed Sheridan’s contract simply was not renewed.

A husband’s fight

The husband of murdered director/actress Adrienne Shelly ( Waitress), Andrew Ostroy, lost a civil lawsuit against Diego Pillco’s employers for negligence. The Appellate Division in Manhattan upheld a judge’s decision to dismiss the suit on the grounds that murder was not part of the job responsibilities, The New York Daily News reports. In 2006, building worker Pillco, then 20, hung the mother of one, 40, from a shower rod after she found him going through her purse. He’s serving 25 years to life.
