Protecting a nation

 

Re the Nov. 18 article 1 Hamas leader killed as Israel attacks in Gaza: For the past year Gaza has been raining missiles on innocent families trying to live their lives inside Israel.

Where are the articles describing the almost daily attacks on Israel? I hardly ever see this mentioned in the paper, especially on the front page. Why isn’t the ongoing mayhem that results from these Hamas attacks on Israel discussed?

If Cuba, Mexico or Canada were lobbing missiles on the United States, wouldn’t we expect our government to protect us? That is simply what Israel is doing.

His claim that the still-unanswered question of where President Obama was and what he did was irrelevant, since Obama was in contact with his staff, was particularly outrageous.
