GMAC announces times and locations for regional playoffs

The Greater Miami Athletic Conference announced Saturday morning the sites and times for the second round of the playoffs.

The Region 4-8A semifinal between South Dade and Killian will be played at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Harris Field.

All other games will be played Friday night, but Traz Powell Stadium will be the site of a doubleheader.

At 1 p.m. Coral Gables will play Columbus in a Region 4-8A semifinal. That game will be followed by the Region 4-6A quarterfinal matchup between Central and Northwestern at 7:30 p.m.

The remaining games will be played at 7:30 p.m.

The Region 4-5A semifinal between Norland and Jackson will be played at North Miami Stadium, and the Region 4-4A final between Booker T. Washington and Gulliver will be played at Curtis Park.

•  Late Friday — Region 4-4A semifinal — Gulliver Prep 25, Riviera Beach Inlet Grove 7: The Raiders advanced to play Booker T. Washington in the regional final for the second consecutive season.
