jdeleon@MiamiHerald.com

Hollywood Police are calling the electrocution of a man while trimming trees a freak accident.

When rescue workers arrived in the 2800 block of Dewey Street on Friday, the unidentified man was dead in a tree, police said.

Authorities say it appears the man, who appeared to be in his 50s, died instantly. He was not the homeowner, police said.

Hollywood Detectives were still working the case late Friday.
