•  Cardinal Gibbons 42, Coconut Creek 0: Chiefs quarterbacks Ryan Giaratano and Peyton Bender combined for five passing touchdowns and their defense overwhelmed the Cougars as Cardinal Gibbons (8-2, 2-2 in district) blew out Coconut Creek (1-8) in a homecoming victory in front of about 800 fans at Cardinal Gibbons High.

Cardinal Gibbons receiver George Rushing hauled in three of those scores and finished with three receptions for 125 yards.

•  Northeast 62, Fort Lauderdale 24: Northeast (10-1) won its ninth game in a row, beating Fort Lauderdale (4-6).

Hurricanes running back Jamal Wallace ran for 255 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries. Wallace had 195 of his 255 yards in the second half.

Fort Lauderdale running back Kenja James ran for 123 yards on 12 carries and returned a kick 50 yards for a touchdown.
