Florida: Fort Myers & Sanibel host 26th annual American Sand Sculpting Championship


Can you dig it?

Master sand sculptors from all over are headed to the Gulf Coast for the 26th annual American Sand Sculpting Championship Nov. 16-25. Held on Fort Myers Beach, the event is one of the longest running sand sculpting competitions in the world. More than 1,000 tons of sand will be piled and sculpted into unbelievable works of art. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” Tickets are $5 for adults and children 5 and older; 4 and younger free.
