Walking on water

  • Since 1989 Jaime Canaves, professor of architecture, at FIU has held his "Walk on Water," challenge for the students, in his Materials and Methods Construction Class. Students are assigned to building aquatic shoes that will allow them to race across a campus lake by literally walking on water.
