Letters to the Editor

Welcome, Kardashians

We were surprised to read in the Oct. 18 article Kardashians wearing out welcome that some of our neighbors, including Realtor Jeff Tomlinson, are opposed to having the Kardashians film their new reality show on our street. Tomlinson bemoans the fact that he cannot get buyers on a property next door to where the Kardashians are filming.

We find this difficult to believe. If anything, the world-famous prestige and exposure that the Kardashians bring to everything they are involved in should enhance his ability to show and sell his property.

We are ecstatic to have the Kardashians next door. We enjoy their vast and varied talent and have done so for years. If others don’t share our enthusiasm, we want them to know that our door is always open and that in our home they will find true Southern hospitality — and room for their cars.

  • Good job, IRS

Bravo to the IRS for doing their job. With Tea Partiers dedicated to overthrowing the government, forcefully if necessary, why should they receive tax-exempt status?

Most drivers seem unhappy with the traffic on our roads — speeding, reckless lane changing and inattentive drivers.
