The Affordable Care Act — Obamacare — will not lead to a government takeover of the healthcare industry. There are no provisions in this act to convert hospitals into government-owned facilities, turn licensing of physicians over to the federal government and require all physicians to become federal-government employees. Unless these are done, the healthcare industry will maintain the status quo under the act.
Furthermore, there is no correlation between a thriving United States economy and a businessman in the White House. In fact, the two most severe depressions in United States history occurred while businessmen were in the White House.
In short, the argument for electing Mitt Romney president is factually flawed.
