•  Late Thursday — Reagan 35, Westland 8: Reagan (8-1, 5-0) took an important step in its season and was able to stave off the nearest competition in a battle of independents in 5A at Ted Hendricks Stadium in front of about 200 fans.

Late Thursday — Fort Pierce John Carroll 7, La Salle 3: With four seconds to play La Salle seemed to score on a 3-yard run, but a holding penalty negated the run and the Royal Lions were unable to score on the following play.
