A male and a female were treated for gunshot wounds Friday night after a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex, according to Coral Springs police.
When police responded around 8:20 p.m. to the Barrington Club apartment complex, at 10700 W. Sample Rd. in Coral Springs, a female exited the apartment with a gunshot wound to the upper torso, Sgt. Brad McKeone said. A male with a similar gunshot wound exited the apartment with a 5-year-old boy, who was unharmed, McKeone said.
Shortly after, another male, believed to be the shooter, exited the apartment and was taken into police custody.
Both gunshot victims were treated on the scene before being taken to North Broward Medical Center.
