Voting still a trial

It only took a bit more than three hours to vote recently. What a fiasco. One has to have stamina and determination to vote. Early voting? Forget it.

Those who are disabled must wait that same time in a waiting room. I’m certain that some people cannot wait that long and disenfranchise themselves. What a pity, and what a terrible system.

When one asks for help and says it is impossible to wait that time, they are told to come back again. Who designed this? Then, if you have the time and strength to wait, you will get a long and arduous ballot in language that is far too difficult to comprehend.

Have we not learned that we should help citizens who want to vote? Instead we have impeded this privilege. Florida has a poor reputation regarding voting and this surely has not improved it.

  • Good job, IRS

Bravo to the IRS for doing their job. With Tea Partiers dedicated to overthrowing the government, forcefully if necessary, why should they receive tax-exempt status?
