Many thanks to Diana Moskovitz for her Oct. 24 report on the launch of The Revival (Reentry Virtual Initiative & Vales Applied Learning) Project in the Broward County jail. Bringing innovative technology to aid corrections in discharge planning isn’t a panacea, but it’s our sincere hope that local jail costs can be reduced.
The program helps those who are eager to improve their lives to receive the problem-solving skills and actionable tools necessary to become productive, law-abiding citizens. Nova Southeastern University and Health Professions deserve accolades also for their help in reducing health and educational disparities in our jail.
