After a much-needed day off Monday, Florida State was back practicing again Tuesday afternoon. The Seminoles are preparing for a Thursday night trip to Blacksburg to face Virginia Tech.

in the Driver’s Seat

Saturday’s N.C. State loss to North Carolina opened the door for Florida State to take control over the Atlantic division in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Florida State needs only to beat Virginia Tech and Maryland during the next couple of weeks to earn a trip to Charlotte for the ACC title game. FSU has not won the ACC since 2005.

Dominant at Home

Florida State has been almost untouchable at home this season. The Seminoles are winning their games in Tallahassee by an average score of 54-7 and have amassed more than 600 yards of offense in four of their six home games.
