Eden Roc: Political Cocktail Menu

 

Playing politics

With the election just around the corner, the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach has developed a specialty political cocktail menu. Up for debate: The Capitol Hill (bourbon, rum, vermouth and bitters), the Filibuster (bourbon, Campari, vermouth with an orange twist) and the Balanced Budget (Ciroc berry vodka, DeKuyper blue curacao, Maraschino liqueur and strawberry or pomegranate puree).

    The Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables, celebrates the 500th anniversary of Ponce de Leon’s Florida encounter with a presentation on the history, culture and architecture of Granada accompanied by “a generous sampling” of Spanish wines. Tickets are $30 at 305-603-8067.
