If you don’t have dinner reservations this evening, join chef Douglas Rodriguez of De Rodriguez Cuba and a kitchen-full of the area’s top toques for “Cooking Up Dreams,” an evening of food tasting and awareness raising for innovative education programs for Miami-Dade students.
The event is 7:30-10:30 p.m. Thursday in the grand ballroom of the DoubleTree Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay, 1717 N. Bayshore Dr. Tickets are $75 via Ticketweb.com or $100 at the door, with proceeds benefiting The Foundation for New Education Initiatives.
