Madonna booed at concert

 

Madonna’s tendency to express herself cost her some fans Saturday night.

Several audience members walked out of the Material Girl’s concert in New Orleans after she urged them to vote for President Barack Obama, The New York Daily News reports.

"I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama," she said.

The pop diva, however, quickly changed her tune when she heard the crowd’s reaction.

"Seriously, I don’t care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote," she back-pedaled.

Bouncing B-ball

Basketball Wives: L.A. axed four of its six cast members – and TMZ reports the catalyst was when Gloria Govan shut producers out of her nuptials to L.A. Lakers star Matt Barnes.

Sources say the producers are getting rid of Gloria, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo and Brooke Bailey because the wives weren’t allowing "all of their reality to be filmed."

The breaking point came when Gloria jetted off to Vegas to marry Barnes – and didn’t let the show know about it.

    Stevie Wonder sings at his own birthday bash

    Stevie Wonder celebrated his 63rd birthday a week after the big day (May 13) with a private concert for almost 700 high rollers, VIP guests and media types Tuesday night at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.
