Boca Raton’s Slow Burn Theatre takes on the Tony Award-winning ‘Avenue Q,’ the people-and-puppets musical about twentysomethings trying to find themselves in one of Manhattan’s cheaper neighborhoods. Nicole Piro operates and talks to Kate Monster, one of the searching young things in a show inspired by (but much more adult than) ‘Sesame Street.’ Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday through Nov. 4 at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater, 12811 W. Glades Rd. Tickets are $35 ($30 seniors, $20 students). Call 1-866-811-4111 or visit www.slowburntheatre.org.
