Is Taylor Swift ever getting back together with...Conor Kennedy?

The summer lovin’ is over.

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy have split, a close friend of the singer-songwriter told Us Weekly. “They quietly parted ways a while ago,” the friend said of the singer, 22, and high school senior, 18. “It was just a distance thing.”

Jennie Garth is livin’ single, too. The former Beverly Hills 90210 star was seen out with yet another man: real estate expert Jason Clarke at the W Hollywood. The newly slim (some say too) actress is getting over her split with husband of 11 years Peter Facinelli.

Out of focus

Nicole Kidman doesn’t think Eyes Wide Shut contributed to the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise, though she did not enjoy the sex scenes with him. The actress admitted to the Hollywood Reporter that she had to be coaxed into some of the kinkier acts by late director Stanley Kubrick.

“Onscreen, the husband and wife are at odds, and Stanley wanted to use our marriage as a supposed reality,” says Kidman. “’He used the movie as provocation, pretending it was our sex life. Which we weren’t oblivious to, but obviously it wasn’t us.”

Kidman also admits she never fully understand the plot, like many viewers of the 1999 film. Kubrick died the day before it opened.

No comment from Cruise on this matter. He’s too busy filing a $50 million defamation lawsuit against the publishers of Life&Style magazine for saying he has abandoned 6-year-old Suri.

Pay dirt!

Al Pacino is being paid a minimum of $125,000 a week for playing washed-up real estate huckster Shelly Levene on Broadway in Glengarry Glen Ross. For the 10-week run of David Mamet’s drama, Pacino is also entitled to 5 percent of profits.
