TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State is making a change at punt returner.
Sophomore Rashad Greene of Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas had been handling the bulk of the duties with a fair degree of success, totaling 301 yards and two touchdowns this season.
But recently issues fielding punts cleanly have cost the Seminoles, and coach Jimbo Fisher said Wednesday that the team would switch to sophomore Tyler Hunter.
“He’s done it all year, too,” Fisher said.
“Probably eight to 10 all year. We had co-returners for a while. We let Rashad have it, now Tyler will have it just for a little bit.”
Fisher said he’s happy with FSU’s depth at running back, even with Chris Thompson
