Come to The Miami Herald Thursday and scream: You’ll be entered in our Howl-oween contest

Want to scream for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate? Then show us what you’ve got by entering The Miami Herald Howl-oween contest on Thursday.

We’re looking for curdling, hair-raising howls. The shrieks can be unleashed for a final time on Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Miami Herald studio, 1 Herald Plaza in downtown Miami.

Your scream will be professionally videotaped and entered in our contest.

The scream videos will be featured for two-weeks on MiamiHerald.com as the public votes and helps pick the winners to be announced Oct. 31.

If you can’t make it on Thursday, you can still upload your scream to our contest page. Use your smartphone to scan the accompanying QR code or visit http://hrld.us/howloween.

The contest is open to all ages: babies, teenagers, grandparents are eligible.
