In Davie, even the horses get into the Halloween fun

Davie’s Halloween festivities — including a horse costume contest, climbing wall and spooky music — will take place 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Rd.

Starting at 1 p.m., children will be able to pick a pumpkin, decorate it and take it home.

The costume contest begins at 3 p.m. Trophies will be awarded for the funnies, spookiest, and most original, and the South Florida Trail Riders will be holding a horse costume contest and parade.

There will also be bounces houses, Halloween games, face painting and snacks.
