Incubate Miami’s fall accelerator program for startups is underway, with the participating startups receiving training, mentoring and office space in Incubate’s downtown Miami location. “We help the startups prepare their companies for investors,” says Gerard Roy, Incubate Miami’s program director. The startups participating in the three-month program will present their companies at a Demo Day on Dec. 6.
Here is a brief description of the seven startups:
ExtendEvent (David Cohn): Offering a solution to improve event experience for attendees.
iCare Intelligence (John Suarez): Offering a comprehensive software solution for the healthcare insurance space.
Kipu Records (Tobias Franoszek, Natasha Duwin): Electronic medical records for substance-abuse facilities.
NDO Guide (Amelia Clay, Alexis Irias): Fitness and weight loss plan comes to the mobile phone.
PearFund (Leonardo Gruszka, Hector Vizcarrondo, Adriana Vizcarrondo): Addresses the crowdfunding marketplace in South America.
Regalos y Amigos (Gonazalo Funes, Lucas Funes): A custom crowdfunding site for niche customers.
RentJiffy (Jonathan Addison): Allows income property owners to easily manage tenants, maintenance and expenses.
