These days bicycling seems to be all the rage. As a result, there is a huge push for motorists to share the road.
I’ve seen bumper stickers and road signs reminding motorists to treat bicyclists with the same respect as we do other cars. There’s only one problem — some cyclists don’t respect the laws of the road, such as those who don’t stop at red lights.
They need to decide if they want to be treated as part of traffic and be given the space and courtesy that motorists would give another vehicle, or if they want to pretend that no law pertains to them. I know this doesn’t pertain to all cyclists, but there are some who give the rest a bad image. If you don’t want to obey traffic laws, stay inside on a stationary bike.
