‘Driving Miss Daisy’
The Plaza Theatre, based out of Florida Stage’s longtime former space in Manalapan, has concentrated on musicals and revues so far. But the Palm Beach County company moves into the world of comedy and drama this weekend with its production of ‘Driving Miss Daisy,’ starring Harriet Oser as an opinionated southerner who can no longer drive and John Archie as Hoke, the guy hired to get her safely from place to place. The play runs through Nov. 18 in the theater at 262 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Tickets are $45.
