Flavor Flav is free from a Las Vegas jail pending a court appearance next week on felony assault and misdemeanor domestic battery charges.
A court clerk says the former hip-hop and reality TV star whose legal name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. is due in court Monday.
Drayton was released on bail from the Clark County jail before a scheduled Thursday morning court appearance.
The former Public Enemy rapper is accused of throwing his fiancée Liz Trujillo, 39, to the floor and wielding knives as he chased and threatened to kill her 17-year-old son during an argument early Wednesday at their Vegas home.
Drayton, 53, told police he scuffled with the woman and her son but denied chasing or threatening the teen.
Trujillo told gossip site RumorFix that she’s filing a restraining order against the former reality star, whom she accuses of cheating. They have been together eight years.

Debbie Reynolds is back home after a brief hospitalization. The Singin’ in the Rain star, 80, needed medical attention last week in Los Angeles after suffering a bad reaction to medication. But publicist Kevin Sasaki said she is still canceling her appearances for the rest of the year.
Brad Pitt is taking some heat for his Chanel No. 5 TV spot. The actor showed up unshaven, looking tired and talked to the camera, saying odd nonsequitirs like “Plans disappear and dreams take over.” Kathie Lee Gifford, for one, thought it, um, stunk. “Here’s the other problem with it: in real life it is dreams disappear and plans take over...he’s got it backward!” she said on Today Wednesday.
