SEAHAWKS (4-2) at 49ERS (4-2)

Line: SF by 7.

Cote’s pick: SF 20-17.

Time/TV: 8:20 p.m., NFL Network.

Our NFL Week 7 starter looks like a terrific game for those who like their football defense-first and physical. Only Bears have allowed fewer points than these NFC Westies. ’Hawks and Niners merge from starkly different mental vantages, though, with Seattle coming off a big upset rally-win over Patriots and San Fran trying to shed the stink of a humbling home rout-loss to Giants. I like Golddiggers to rebound at home. SF has won three in a row in the series, and its run-D has held Marshawn Lynch to 62 yards on 23 carries the past two games at the ’Stick. Just can’t see Frans losing a second game in a row. Bet-line feels fat, though. Seattle, though only 1-2 on the road, has the defense to keep it close.
