In this election, many topics regarding women have become controversial, such as reproductive rights, birth control and even rape. As stated in Kathleen Parker’s Oct. 11 column, The year of the woman (again), women don’t pay attention to these topics only. Our concerns are the same as those of men, with the biggest one being the economy and jobs.
I think it is ridiculous that someone would believe otherwise. Women are just as informed as men on all the topics in the election, and we would not pick a president solely based on a few issues.
I agree with Parker that this should be called “The year of the American.”
