The Moscow Sretensky Monastery Choir will appear in concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd.
Considered one of the best choirs of Russia, the choir will perform a program of masterpieces of Russian sacred and folk music.

Women in Leadership
The third of four Florida Women in Leadership Symposiums will be from 8 - to 11:45 a.m. Thursday, at Nova Southeastern University, 1750 NE 167th St. in North Miami Beach.
Topics to be discussed will include, Beyond the Box — Letting go of preconceived barriers and fears; Networking Our Way Up — Always finding ways to connect; Balancing Life and work — How do we do it?; Giving and Receiving — supporting one another in both directions, and Leadership Best Practices —What it takes to lead in today’s world.
The fourth and last symposium will be at Hodges University’s Naples Campus, Science and Technology Building, 2647 Professional Circle, Naples.

Art Fest at Doral
The works of over 100 artists from around the world will be showcased at the free Ninth Annual Art Fest@Doral from Friday through Oct. 21 at Carlos Albizu University at 2173 NW 99th Ave. Actress Carmen Daysi will be the mistress of ceremonies for Art Fest’s Friday’s opening.
This year the Art Fest will present a delegation from Belgrade, Serbia, headed by internationally-known artist Vladimir Manic. The delegation will exhibit more than 50 works of art by special invitation from Art Fest Co-founder Noel Santiesteban.
The exhibit will show only one-of-a-kind and limited edition works of art, available for sale. A special film program, showcasing directors’ documentaries and films to run throughout Saturday and Sunday will also be featured. The event will also feature four live performances by Body Painting Artist Erika Monroy.
The hours of the exhibit are, 8 to 10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 21.
