FSU’s Menelik Watson on the way back

Miami Herald Writer

As Florida State prepares for Saturday’s game against Boston College, it will once again have the services of junior offensive tackle Menelik Watson.

Watson has been battling an illness, and in his absence Daniel Glauser has played against South Florida and North Carolina State.

But Watson should be back out on the field Saturday.

Poised to Pass Mark

Senior kicker Dustin Hopkins is seven points away from becoming Florida State’s all-time leading scorer.

Hopkins was 3 for 3 on field-goal attempts and made an extra point during last Saturday’s loss to N.C. State.

Season over for Foose

Redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Daniel Foose is officially done for the season.

He was listed as out for the year on the team’s weekly injury report.
