Duke Johnson has taken his fair share of hits throughout the season, but Thursday was the first time the freshman running back appeared on UMs injury report.
The Miami Norland product was listed as having a lower-extremity injury. But he is probable for Saturdays game against North Carolina at Sun Life Stadium, according to UM.
Johnson, who ranks 14th in the country in all-purpose yards, leads the Hurricanes in rushing with 381 yards and five touchdowns in six games.
But since piling up 200 all-purpose yards in UMs 42-36 overtime victory against Georgia Tech on Sept. 22, Johnson has been held in check over the past two games. He was held to a season-low 82 all-purpose yards against North Carolina State and had 90 yards against Notre Dame.
Offensive tackle Ben Jones (lower extremity) and safety Rayshawn Jenkins (upper extremity) are out for Saturdays game.
