I was informed at the election supervisor’s office that since I was going to be out of town on Election Day that two centers would be open — in Doral and the Downtown Government Center — from Oct. 2-9 to either pick up the absentee ballot or vote. On Oct. 4 I went to vote, but was informed that no absentee ballots could be picked up until Oct. 9. Not only has the window for early voting been reduced in Florida, but now the absentee voting opportunity is delayed. Is this delay to minimize the opportunity of responsible citizens to vote for the right candidate in this very crucial election where the nation is so politically divided? I want to vote in an honest electoral process.
