Talk about life flashing before your eyes! The Brinno TLC200 Time Lapse Camera can be set anywhere and programmed to automatically take photos at about 10 frames per second for a set time period. What you get is a video combining everything — a neat way to capture flowers opening throughout a day or animals roaming onto the scene, or kids at play. To use the TLC200, just turn it on, set a time period, aim the camera, and wait for the “video” to finish. The camera comes with a 2GB SD Card, space enough for up to up to 20,000 images. (The camera supports HD cards up to 32 GB). It runs on 4 AA batteries (included). The lens can be extended or rotated for best aim, with the 1.44-inch LCD viewfinder monitoring the passing scene, and there’s a low-light mode for indoor shooting. To view the video, pop the HD card into your PC, or connect the TLC200 to a PC. An optional external stop-action Shutter Line lets you shoot individual JPEG images. Other attachments also available.
Brinno TLC200 Time Lapse Camera is $195; Shutter Line, $19.99; at www.smartecstore.com or 888-552-6650.
