Doug Wright’s Pulitzer Prize-winning ‘I Am My Own Wife’ focuses on the remarkable and true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a German man who lived life as a woman, surviving the rule of Nazis and East German Communists. Tom Wahl plays Charlotte and 34 other characters in Zoetic Stage’s season-opening production, part of the ongoing ‘Light/The Holocaust & Humanity’ project at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
