Camillus House hosts free exams, services for cats and dogs

The Camillus House and South Florida Veterinary Foundation will offer free animal wellness exams, vaccinations and spay/neuter services on Sunday at Camillus House, 1603 NW Seventh Ave. in Miami.

Anyone with a pet who qualifies as low income is welcome to take advantage of the services.

The spay/neuter services are for dogs only. Appointments must be made in advance by calling 786-258-8387. You will be required to drop off the dog at 8 a.m. No food or water can be given past midnight before the surgery.

The wellness clinic is open to dogs and cats. No appointment is necessary. The clinic will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
