The Americans’ performance in the Ryder Cup, except for the two Johnsons — Dustin and Zach — and Tiger Woods was a good, old fashioned, hands-to-the-throat choke.
Everybody was waiting for somebody else to step up, which was totally out of character for Phil Mickelson who is usually a gunslinger.
And even when Tiger knew that his match would have no bearing on the outcome, and his play last week was not his best, he battled to a draw. He can be on my team any time.
