Students at Immaculata-La Salle High School recently received iPads to use for their classes, and the school is redesigning classrooms for technology.

The Coconut Grove school is among 12 of the Archidocese of Miami’s 13 high schools that have acquired iPads for every student. At La Salle, the devices are now included with tuition.

The archdiocese’s elementary schools also are moving to more digital content, by sharing carts of iPads that move from room to room, said Kim Pryzbylski, schools superintendent for the Archdiocese.

The move at La Salle is part of its “21st Century Learning Program,” which encompasses technology across the curriculum.
