The Hurricanes released a new depth chart Monday going into Saturday’s Notre Dame game at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Denzel Perryman (high-ankle sprain) is back and starting at middle linebacker.

Not only is right offensive tackle Ben Jones out with a foot injury this week, but coach Al Golden said fellow tackle Jermaine Johnson is not with the team “right now’’ for “personal reasons.” Freshman Ereck Flowers and junior Seantrel Henderson are listed as co-starters at right tackle, with redshirt freshman Hunter Wells now the backup to Malcolm Bunche on the left side.

Tyrone Cornileus and Gionni Paul are co-starters at outside linebacker. Deon Bush is listed ahead of Kacy Rodgers at safety.

• Quarterback Stephen Morris and linebackers Paul and Eddie Johnson were named Atlantic Coast Conference Players of the Week on Monday. Morris was the Offensive Back of the Week, Paul was the Linebacker of the Week and Johnson was Rookie of the Week.

• Defensive tackle Olsen Pierre (unspecified) didn’t practice Monday. … Linebacker Jimmy Gaines was sidelined with a boot on his left foot. …Golden said safety Rayshawn Jenkins (unspecified) was OK.
