A Plantation woman has died after she fell and hit her head on a van’s bumper during a robbery, officials said.

Kimberlyn Clarke, 28, was at party Thursday when a man unleashed pepper spray on the small crowd of people at the Seminole Truck Stop, on US Highway 27 in Weston, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials believe Clarke hit her head while taking cover from the pepper spray.

Two unidentified men were seen on surveillance video walking past the crowd when one man sprayed the substance. The other suspect ripped a chain from another man, and the two fled. Police believe one of the suspects was wearing a T-shirt with the numbers 2012 and Ralph Lauren inscribed on the front.

The woman died on Saturday.

Police urge anyone with information to call 954-356-470.
