Tough first week for the Miami Spice of the Bikini Basketball Association.
The Spice, a founding member of the brand new professional women's hoops league, is left without a venue to hold tryouts after the Miami-Dade County Public Schools banned the team from high school campuses.
The franchise announced that tryouts would take place this afternoon at Miami Edison Senior High School on Miami's northwest side.
The school board, however, put the kibosh on the plan when it finally figured out the BBA's players' uniforms don't have enough cloth to bear their names.
